Mim gave birth to her kids during the half hour it took us to go to town
and back. Unfortunately there were three - the last buckling, most likely
born breach, did not survive. We think that if we'd been there, maybe we
could have saved him, but he could also have been stillborn. We didn't
expect triplets, that's for sure! The surviving kids are both strong and
healthy; weighing in at 8 pounds a piece. They are the same beautiful
blue color that Marrietta and Maddelina were last year. They even
have the same white spot on their heads, and Claricia has a white spot
on her side. Both of these kids will be for sale. Good show prospects.

We didn't think Lizzy was ever going to kid, and we really expected
triplets as huge as she was. What we got were two hefty bucklings,
each weighing 6.5 pounds. N.P. is a brilliant white with great
conformation and wavy fleece. G.P. has some silvering and the
same great fleece, he just isn't built quite as nicely. Both of these
kids will be for sale.
