The First Pygora Breeders in Northern Illinois
Our journey into the fascinating world of Pygora Goats began
when Buddy fell in love with some Pygmy kids that he drove past
every day on his way to work. When we started talking about
organic weed control, Buddy said, "Why don't we get some little
goats? They'll eat weeds!" I said, "Not unless they can produce
fiber." Buddy said, "Why don't you find some Angora Dwarf
Goats?", and I said, "There's no such thing." And HE said,
"Why don't you go on-line and look?" So I did, and lo and
behold, a whole website full of Pygora Goats appeared on my
screen. The rest, as they say, is history.
