          Snokist Farm Matisse
            3/20/04

Medium Grey Agouti
               Type B/C Fleece
     Sire:  Peppermint Pastures Pygoras NoBo
     Dam:  Peppermint Pastures Pygoras Ladylove

Matisse was our first Pygora, and we were immediately
impressed with his muscular conformation and good heavy legs, as
well as his pearly grey fleece.  He has a great disposition and is
never aggressive toward people.  He will, however, beat the heck out
of our Icelandic rams if they come between him and the grain trough.
He doesn't seem to be bothered by the fact that he has no horns!
2007 was our first year with Matisse as a herdsire, and he  threw
black, medium grey agouti, and dark grey agouti;  all four of his kids
to date have been doelings.  Way to go, Matisse!  We bred him to
Mim, Fontana, Bridget, and Emily for Spring 2008 kids.

     The Faun's Palette VanGogh
             3/26/06
              White
              Type B Fleece
        Sire:  Kiddin Around Farms Mario
        Dam:  Fluffball Farms Mim

VanGogh came to us in utero from Fluffball Farms in Oregon,
and has grown into a large, stocky, crystal white buck.  We feel very
fortunate to have him, as he continues to improve.  He has a
beautifully thick, silky coat when in fleece, and is very calm and
non-aggressive towards everything.  We bred VanGogh to Morisot,
Valadon, Iris, and Lizzy Borden for 2008 kids, and they should be
marvelous!

        Enchanted Meadow Redmond
                 5/2/07
             Registered CAGBA Colored Angora
                Solid Medium/Copper Red
                   Sire: CHF Alex
                   Dam: WW IM

Redmond is our junior herdsire, and is proving  to be an
outstanding representative of his breed.  He has ringlets all the way
down to his little nose, and looks like he has bloomers on as the
fiber cascades down his legs.  HOWEVER, Colored Angoras
are not accepted as foundation stock by the PGA, so Redmond's
offspring will have to be registered with the CGA (Colored Goat
Association).  If you're a purist (and you want copper), you will
want to wait until we find a red Pygora buck to breed to our dolls,
which probably won't be for a while.  If you're looking for an
incredible fiber animal, then keep an eye out for Redmond's
offspring premiering in Spring of 2009.  We plan to use him on any
of our dolls that have red in their background, and hope for a wide
range of shades in mohair.
